Teachers Pension sharing

Is there anyone out there who has had to share their teachers pension with their ex who also has a teacher pension.
TP want £2,500 to sort this out!!! It's literally moving it from my account to his surely?

That's just their flat rate charge, I don't think there is much you can do really. Maybe agree to swap other assets rather than pension share?

Thanks, I suspect that I am going to have to suck it up (like everything else in this highly unfair divorce where he gets shed loads of my money for doing nothing and contributing nothing for 16 years)

There is a pension sharing order from the court as part of the consent order so it has to he this and I don't have any other assets. He is already getting half the house which he hasn't paid a penny for in 16 years.

The TP information is actually incorrect as they call it s a decree absolute and that is no longer a thing, it's a final order.

They also take forever to do anything ... so god knows why they need some much £££

That sounds really unfair. Does he get a lump sum from your pension or does he get a set amount paid in each month?
