we continue to call out the bullshit peddled by MLMs and the scam artists on the fringes who making money from coaching and pretend certificates

Today in not-a-nurse world is 'one of them days'. I mean crazy crazy activity.
We had 2 minutes explaining why getting up later is better. Then she's going to buy some dinner and get her nails done. Who knows how but shes somehow finding time in that crazy schedule to 'get the business back on track' so today she's researching how to get branded pens and key rings.... This is straight from the scamversity MLM bisniss by numbers playbook isn't it.

I was stuck in a queue so listened to castles coaching live. She’s planning on charging 997 a month for her coaching

i can’t believe anyone would be stupid enough to sign up to have business cliches and the patently obvious spouted at them

I don't think even Nurse really knows what her own business is! Her FB group bio concentrates on the therapy aspect but she seems to be talking mainly about coaching/manifesting on Instagram.

In the last 6 months she's gone from training to be a nail tech, then to an apparently ideal job that lasted a matter of weeks and now she's following her dreams of being a business owner.

Is her coaching gonna be based on the idea of if it's not working out as you wanted, then just ditch it and move on to something else cos that's how her life seems to have been this year so far anyway.

So let me get this straight, Castle see's her 'value' as £333 an HOUR!

I think she has been egged on by her coach, to see the real value in her work.

Gettging mugs to pay £39 is a lot easier than asking them to send a near 4 figure payment for the hair twisting, inane waffle.

It’s a big jump from 39 to nearly a grand a month.

Fierce is also moving into high value coaching.

i did laugh at castles husband getting 20k worth of coaching. It’s clearly made all the difference.

Yawn gets dangerously close to describing a pyramid shaped business model in her recent story. "I train people to be like me" etc.

@DeliaDeetz I think Nurse is lazy and looking for the easiest option. When she was talking about the “ideal job” she briefly had it was ideal because of what she didn’t have to do rather than for the content of the job, “it’s only 12 hours a week and I don’t have to work school holidays and I don’t have to do this and I don’t need to do that” etc etc.

As for the business side of things, as with her FLP episode, it’s all lovely while it’s safely on the distant horizon and can be safely dreamt about but as soon as it requires effort in the present it’s all over quickly. I think the therapy didn’t stir up much easy interest and has higher barriers to entry so is proving too much like hard work. I asked her on social media what she was doing about insurance, ICO registration, supervision etc and I know I wasn’t the only one to ask so I wonder if the therapy side was a bit too tricky, especially as her understanding of it was so poor, whereas the manifesting side is all about the misguided bolstering the delusional with “positivity” and zero realism. Nurse has just gone, yet again, for the easy deal.

How long do we give the new business? To the beginning of the school holidays when she mothballs it “because as an entrepreneur I can”. Then a lame attempt to bring it back to life at the beginning of the autumn term for a few days before she is forced back into another MLM, a short-lived job or even nursing though I doubt they’ll have her back at her previous unit as she has a track record for short and long term sickness which will have been a massive pain in the arse for her nearest colleagues. I seriously wonder if she was any good at her job when she wasn’t off sick. She doesn’t seem, well, very bright.

@YouOKHun did you ever get any response to your questions about insurance, registration etc.

My guess is the only response you got was to be blocked 🚫 (I mean, I got blocked for viewing her page/Insta stories !)

@YouOKHun was just thinking how long it's going to last. School hols will come and she'll make an excuse about needing the break and as you say mothballed. Then it will be 'gonna continue to enjoy the holidays and get back on it' in September by which time she'll flog it for a while longer and then we'll hear no mention of it again.

How is she going to do therapy/coaching with the kid around in school hols anyway? Her prices are by the hour. You can't lock yourself away for an hour with a small child in the house and it's not going to fly with a child interrupting all the time so she's stuck with post bedtime slots surely

@NormalForNuneaton you guessed right! I asked her privately (I was polite, I just asked her how she planned to tackle those things) and was immediately blocked. Then I commented more publicly (and a bit less politely) about the issues with offering therapy privately and was immediately blocked and called a hater and a sad lonely person full of negativity.

I wasn’t the only one to ask questions so I think despite her refusal to respond to any questioning from people, she didn’t ignore it. I think it rattled her as she realised there are a whole load of things she hadn’t considered. I think it’s too much like hard work to comply so she’s quietly parked the therapy, or at least she is avoiding mentioning it.

Exactly @meatbaseddessert. My children are young adults now but when they were younger I couldn’t just stop seeing a client because the summer holidays had started, what would I say to them? “Sorry, could you just park your depression until early September as I am downing tools for the summer”… I couldn’t do that in the NHS and I couldn’t do it in private practice either. Just like any other job the holidays could be tricky and I needed childcare. If (and it’s a big “if”) people are paying her for coaching in a six week block then they are going to want that for the next six weeks. Does she think she can phone in sick like she has traditionally done as a salaried worker? Can she just say “I’m manifesting a day off” when she has paying coaching clients and possibly vulnerable therapy clients?

Still, it’s all academic as she probably has no clients at all.

It was an interesting detail that Nurse, when working in the NHS, used to have acrylic nails despite the rules saying they weren’t allowed - so she always had pale pink so her boss wouldn’t notice and send her home to remove them

@fitgirl26 yes Wig and Sleaze are back in Wales and embarking on a fruit diet and power walking health kick (so a heavily filtered Wig says) which translates to me as “no money for food and keeping moving so our creditors don’t catch up”. Quite risky for them to be in and around their home town I’d have thought.

It is savvy business sense to give any MLM the hugest swerve.

Honestly. It's the biggest load of tosh ever. No truly succesful business owner would even consider MLM as another income stream. Its unstable, unsustainable and unethical.

So Castle is spending the summer in her Camper Van in the U.K.

Yawn on her stories has now inserted into her narrative that she was going to join the Police as an officer. I can speak with confidence (and experience 😉) on this one and I can absolutely categorically say that she wouldn't have a hope in hell of hacking it. She'd snap a nail handcuffing someone and that would be the end of her!

People like her, 2Jags, Castle and Bruv playing on the fact that they did a few years to legitimise their current actions really gets on my wick!

@PieonaBarm there is nothing she has ever said and zero evidence that she was ever thinking of training as a police officer despite working for a while in another capacity for her local force. I’m pretty sure she has said in the past she had no interest and her admin job was just a means to an end for her.

The trouble with lying is she’s got to have such a good memory about what she’s previously said otherwise people start pointing out the contradictions and lies!

Have any of you come across this excellent podcast called “Liar Liar” about the Australian con artist Melissa Caddick? I sometimes wonder if some of the liars we talk about on these threads will face a similar reckoning when their actions finally catch up with them. Hopefully there won’t be any reports on the Ten o’Clock News about the gruesome discovery of an espadrille containing a human foot on West Kirby beach.

I started listening to Liar Liar @BSintolerant and mean to go back to it. I have been listening to Scamanda about Amanda C Riley who is currently in prison for “wire fraud” as that’s what the US tax authority could get her on but she actually scammed over £100k out of her church, family and friends by lying about having Hoskins Lymphoma. It’s not about MLM but in one episode a friend talks about how she gave Amanda free rein to order supplements from the company the friend “worked with”. Amanda went on to work for the company for a while promoting the products off the back of her “cancer”. That’s got to be an MLM hasn’t it?

Again, another interesting podcast about how people are fooled en masse and how any doubters are shamed into silence and start questioning their own sanity.
