I really do wonder who, if anyone, Yawn still has a friend within FL. She rarely appears in anyone's photos, other than her own. She has her lowly minions that she's signed up and drags into photos but doesn't seem to associate with any of the "popular" bots who all hang out together in a big group .

According to her InstaStories she was also back at her hotel early whilst the others partied, and her (holier than thou!) breakfast post photo suggests it was a table for one.

Crikeyalmighty · 24/06/2023 16:00

Who is this about- can anyone give me a subtly clue- as clearly it's one of those 'can't name' threads - I feel I'm missing out!!

Sugarplum48 · 24/06/2023 17:10

@Crikeyalmighty first name same as female sports pundit with the surname Balding and surname from the famous oooohhh Betty character.

Crikeyalmighty · 24/06/2023 19:49

@Sugarplum48 lovely thanks- I'm off down the rabbit hole to check it out - never heard of her!

Crikeyalmighty · 24/06/2023 21:21

Ha, ha I'm up to date now. Blimey- it's like a very very bad and very shallow Apprentice candidate. I'm fascinated by the eyebrows!! I can't see any Facebook posts beyond 2018 and just pictures on Instagram! Whose the rather average looking dude with her on FB?? Wouldn't have thought he fitted the 'what a yummy mummy I am' persona -?

The thing is I don't understand people like this- if they actually started something up that wasn't a bit of a swizz they have enough about them and enough brass neck to do quite well over a period -- I suspect the problem with people like this is that they want instant grats- without too much hard work and genuine long term good quality business isn't like that.

MarchXX · 24/06/2023 21:31

Nurse's transfer from FL to finding vulnerable clients to practice dubious CBT on reminds me of Dimbot switching from FL to angle (sic) card readings and communicating with dead relatives (exploiting vulnerable people Sad).

BSintolerant · 24/06/2023 22:55

I still can’t get over Dimbot meeting St Andrew in a community centre when she was on her way to the toilet.

Angrymum22 · 25/06/2023 01:04

Well Yawn just let slip her bonus payment this year. It was in the thousands, not 10s of thousands or 5/6/7/8 figure, just in the thousands so more than one thousand but less than ten thousand. She could have alluded to 6 figure which we all know includes the two zeros after the decimal point but no she didn’t.
Her guard is down, maybe slipped due to living cost crisis in the thatch. The stress of her growing mortgage payments must be crippling.

Ah but MLMs like Forever Living put on events where you get to walk across a stage and be ‘recognised’ and photographed and whooped at

they know how to make their bots feel important and distract them from reality

Yawn ‘I’ve been on stage 5 times today!!!’ yes but what did you pay to be there/ travel there/ stay overnight?
and have you looked at Forever Living’s annual statement on Companies House?

So many questions

  • why was she hunting online for second hand dumbbells for a good price? A six figure earner, debt free, would surely either still have the gym membership or just buy the best dumbbells money can buy?
  • she had no confidence, was overwhelmed , was anxious and couldn’t sleep before she gave up alcohol? So the way she was portraying herself before that was a flat out lie?
  • Forever Living ‘specialises in diet cleanses’ does it??

I suspect there has been some heavy editing of her article to avoid any promotion of FL or association with MLM. Poorly veiled attempt at promoting the company via mainstream media.
Is this a new/resurrected promotion method? Pre social media I would imagine that bots used some of these methods. Perhaps now they have saturated SM they are attempting to draw in those who don’t engage with SM. It’s just a little strange that Yawn has gone back to non-digital promotion.

Crikeyalmighty · 25/06/2023 12:30

@Spongebobette I can't get over on reading her stuff how much she needs to keep emphasising how busy she is and her successful business- someone who does this often has a bit of an inferiority complex and is simply trying too hard to sell themselves as a brand- but when your actual business is a bit rubbish that is often the case. Honestly I blame the Apprentice for giving these people the idea that being arrogant and grandiose but without a solid skill base is the way to be -

Then again you aren't really going to say 'my successful business filling my pipeline and scamming other women who want to earn a bit extra in MLM'

However at the end of the day people aren't forced into these things- they join up willingly- albeit very naively

Spongebobette · 25/06/2023 12:30

I expect the new country manager is fizzing with amazing ideas like this - there was another ‘article’ recently placed in a mag about 2jags

I wonder when Yawns xbff will make print in the penny dreadfuls.
She had a big meeting with the new boss while the rest were being posh in Cannes.

terrywynne · 25/06/2023 12:53

That article is so deceptively worded! "I worked with a company" can be taken to mean both that she worked with FL ie: was a bot and decided to use their products. Or, if you don't know what her business is, you could read it as she contacted the company and worked with them on her diet plan. The ambiguous wording means people can think she has no affiliation with the company that specialises in diet cleanses but there is deniability if she is called out about it. And the article doesn't mention that she had already done those 9 and 15 days cleanses before as part of the yo yo dieting.

And that's without even getting into whether you can be get those results off stopping drinking and doing the FL programmes

DeliaDeetz · 25/06/2023 14:23

I'm kinda surprised Yawn directed people towards finding this article as it's so contradictory of the way she has portrayed things over the last few years...

Reads like this is the first time she's done these 9/15 day cleanses when she's repeatedly posted about doing them
This claims she started in Oct 21 but she's always saying she lost 6st in a year, so at least 18/20months not 12
Claims her life was pretty crap, overweight/no confidence/no sleep etc but again SM was full of how great things were
Focuses on the alcohol aspect which although she mentions occasionally that she has stopped drinking, her weight loss is mainly put down to aloe goo programs

Are all her aloe minions really that taken in by her that they wouldn't question any of this??!

Spongebobette · 25/06/2023 14:23

Ah yes ‘it was the eleventy billionth time I did a C9 that it worked!’

OP posts:
NormalForNuneaton · 25/06/2023 17:30

Yawn's been spamming local Facebook groups (although obviously not the one that publicly declared its anti-MLM stance) with her magazine article.

I've reported the posts but couldn't see an option where you can explain why. They send to have various options you can click but scammy MLM lies and claims is not one of them

Spongebobette · 25/06/2023 17:51

But she already has 20 customers who buy products from her which gives her a huge income so I don’t know why she’s bothering

OP posts:
Spongebobette · 25/06/2023 17:55

She’s saying on her stories that her body has suffered ‘massive abuse from alcohol’
😱

More likely to be massive abuse from aloe jizz, countless C9 "cleanses" , brief spells of starvation, resetting her eating, yoyo weight loss/weight gain etc

She was doing daily work outs at the local deluxe gym and was also paying a personal trainer for regular work outs and this was like 7 years ago 🤷🏻‍♀️

Trouble is all her minions are very much recent. There are very few/none who were looking at her SM feed a year ago so she can pretty much paint whatever picture she likes. Especially now she has a policy of deleting older pictures which I suspect came about because she looked on these threads and realised that her photos of her weight loss didn’t make sense over time and much of what she says contradicts previous statements she’s made.

The lies and contradictions are only clear if you’ve been following her and her type over time as we’ve been doing here. It’s frustrating to see people swallowing her fiction and knowing they may only start to question it after they’ve been damaged financially, socially and emotionally.

I think Woman magazine needs it pointing out to them that allowing her to place products in shot and promote a fictional version of her story and misrepresent the nature of her “business” is damaging, as she is now using the article to recruit into her “business” which is bad news for her sign ups. Perhaps Woman magazine would like to do an article on the risks of involvement in MLM? They should.
