Hi, what's reasonable amount to give 26 year old for birthday?
Its my twins, so double stinger 😁 I'm on benefits ESA, one lives at home, works but pay isn't great, other lives with gf, rented house, but has a good paid job, I know money will help them both out, but they both probably have more than I do anyway 😂

You buy them a nice present, like you normally would?

You certainly don't put yourself into financial difficulty handing over large sums of money when they earn more than you do.

I'd be giving my Mum money if it were like this in my house.

What you can afford is the answer.
In my family birthday gifts are around the £20 -£30 price range.
Maybe ask them if there is something they would like that is £26 (as they are going to be 26).

I'd not give money, maybe a bottle of something nice each? Perfume, smellies, candles etc
