Your payroll department will be able to do you a forecast with monthly breakdown.

Work out 8 weeks full pay and 18 weeks half pay together, divide that by 52 and times by 12. That's your OMP gross amount over the 12 months. They won't average your SMP as it's your government payment so this will be paid as it falls and you'll pension contributions will be based on your pay before it's averaged as they can't average these out either.

I am on mat leave at the moment and had my pay averaged out over 9 months.
The first 2 months I think I got about £965 then £1403 for remaining 7 months. This is bottom of 5 and remained in the pension scheme. Obviously I will get my lump sum etc in June pay and the pay rise inrease will apply for the following months.
I know it's not exactly what you asked but it might give you a vague idea.

It’s so confusing all this. I’m top of band 3 and I want to know how much roughly within £100 or so I will take home if spread over 12 months. Does anyone have a clue.
am I looking at 300 a month for 12 months or 600 or what? I’ve been looking this up for the past 5hrs!!
