It says payments can't be cash. Only debit or Apple Pay

Does debt include credit card or will I be unable to pay by credit card?

Yes, credit card is fine. Debit/Credit cards are the same as far as the machines involved are concerned.

It depends. If it's somewhere that sells expensive items, eg cars, they often won't accept credit cards due to the fees.

It's changed due to contactless and new providers like Google/Apple Pay and Sum Up etc, but a lot of retailers will still be on a contract with their bank, which typically attracts a fixed fee of a few (tens of) pence for a debit card transaction but a percentage, usually in the range of 1-2%, for credit cards.

Therefore, if you bought a £20k car, it could cost them £400 to accept a credit card, which obviously is a big hit on their margin.

Yes, true about expensive items, I couldn't pay for a caravan with a credit card, I wanted to because of the points, I could pay the deposit by credit card and the balance by debit card

It's just a festival at the weekend but they say they accept debit or Apple Pay /Google pay will that mean credit card too?

It will be fine I'm sure, but could you put your credit card onto Apple Pay just to be sure? It's very likely just lazy wording though that means they accept digital payments and not cash.

Yes if I paid by Apple Pay it would be a credit card as my debit card isn't on it
