Neither, you put the gross and the tax deducted figure from your P60, not your payslips. Your P60 will give those two figures, which you enter in the appropriate boxes on your SA tax return. The P60 is much clearer and won't include lots of different figures that some payslips may show which complicates matters.

Thank you @user1497207191 . There isn't space for those figures, it just asks for 'other employment' and there is one box.
So one box for my income from my self employment
One box for other income from employer .

That's odd.
I am both emloyed and self employed, and for several years, the employed pay number has always been prepopulated on my self assesssment form, because HMRC has that figure from my employers.

@DancingLedgend So for tax year 2022-2023 it should be on there already, or is it too soon?

@DancingLedgend I left the employer last august 2022

That's not right then. Have you ticked the box at the start to say you have employment? That usually throws up the full employment input sheet which would have the gross and tax boxes as well as boxes to declare taxable benefits, boxes to claim expenses, etc. I'd suggest you go back to the beginning to check you've ticked the "are you employed" box. I'm not even sure where you get "one box" for self employment, as likewise there should be at least 3 boxes being income, expenses, and profit.

@user1497207191 yes I ticked that box, well it was a circle! So the big black dot came up in the circle!
