I've got 2 monthly saver accounts with Lloyd's. This year one gives 5.25% and the other 6.25%. You can put max 250 into the lower one and 400 a month into the upper one.

I use them to get the guaranteed interest then put some of my end amount into bonds when they mature. It gives me a balance of guaranteed return with instant access if needed and the enjoyment of checking winnings monthly.

Drat; zero for me and DH this month.

Oh well

monotonemusings · 02/09/2023 14:48

£100

Tidsleytiddy · 02/09/2023 15:24

£250

£100 for me, on £3100 of holdings. That's twice this year I have had £100 so actually doing better than I ever have.

I use my PBS as a way to hide away £250 per month and like the gamble. The money I have in ebbs and flows as invariably I'll take out £2k at some point for a holiday, so im happy without putting it in an interest account for now.

Fruitynutcase · 02/09/2023 15:58

£25 but better than nothing so I'm grateful 😇

Coldbit · 02/09/2023 16:59

£100 for me, happy with that after 2 months of nothing

Mybestusername · 02/09/2023 18:14
