£225 on £30k so not too shabby

Neversaygoodbye · 02/08/2023 06:20

£25 on HH, better than the £0 I've had since Sept but I'll need some decent amounts over the next few months to convince me to keep it in there. I'm giving it until the end of the year.

Snowpaw · 02/08/2023 06:31

£250 on FH for me
£200 on £38k for my DD

Better than recent previous months. Quite happy with that.

Mellowautumnmists · 02/08/2023 06:58

£275 on full holding. Very pleased as nothing last month. That's £575 for me since January.

hettiethehare · 02/08/2023 07:20

£100 on FH for me. Definitely falling behind average returns now and thinking about withdrawing for a better rate elsewhere.

Haleso · 02/08/2023 07:57

£75 for me on almost full holdings…..

Cowhen · 02/08/2023 08:24

nettie434 · 01/08/2023 22:48

Don't give up hope cowhen. Maybe tomorrow is the day you get 10 x £200 wins instead of one £2k prize!

Thanks, @nettie434! It's a lovely thought but didn't happen for me this month.

No win for August (~6500 in holdings, so that's to be expected). Hope to hear some good news from others!

doodles55 · 02/08/2023 09:02

£100 on FH
Im happy to get it
Next draw seems a long way away !
Good luck to you all!

2023usernameNew · 02/08/2023 09:03

£175 on FH.

but this is the road for my daughter’s 9K. This was the last month we were willing it give it a chance of winning something. Will be moving to a high interest account this month.

lapisamethyst · 02/08/2023 09:32

£200 on FH
I'm happy

spacechimp79 · 02/08/2023 12:31

£25 for me on 23K. Not happy really as hardly won anything this year.

LuckOfTheDrawer · 02/08/2023 12:41

£125 for us on a bit over FH. We're probably about to take out about £25k to pay a chunk of our mortgage off though, and we might take out more to put in an ISA.

skyeisthelimit · 02/08/2023 13:31

£50 for me on £14K,

nothing for daughter again on £4K so am now moving hers to a high rate savings account with YBS

carlottacandle · 02/08/2023 15:58

£25 on 45k and we've won next to nothing over 6 months. Terrible return so taking a chunk out for an Atom 6% savings.

anewbook · 02/08/2023 22:01

Nothing here on almost £6k.

Cupcakequeen75 · 02/08/2023 22:49

£375 on FH so not too bad.

After a really good start to the year (£425 then £850) it dropped down to under £200 for a couple of months so glad it has picked up this month.

Eaumyword · 02/08/2023 22:50

£300 across 2.5 FH.

Daftjon · 05/08/2023 08:18

I took 20k out last month and put in a decent rate savings account. Won nothing for 2 months on FH now ingot 20k less I win £100 this month !! That's a few takeaways paid for !!!

blitzen · 08/08/2023 22:16

Nothing for me this month!

HighEndGrifters · 09/08/2023 09:27

PB prizes landed this week, PB accounts raided, they are going into, First Direct at 5.2% for a year and Recognise at 6.1% for two years, more guaranteed than PB’s at this stage.

So we are doing the above and will have 50% holdings each in PB’s, plus an umbrella fund. Though I might raid the umbrella fund and stick it in PB’s.

Never thought I would be this grown up. 😂

lapisamethyst · 09/08/2023 09:49

Tesco is giving 5.85% in their one year saver.

thecatsthecats · 09/08/2023 09:53

I didn't win anything for the first time this year in August! Shocked, I tell ye.

I'm doing some rearranging pre-Mat leave, will probably top out my ISA at 5.4% and other tax efficient options.
