Other one is almost full so a new thread for us to share all our winnings (I hope)

fir the first time I won £50 / usually £25 if I win

and May brought 25 and 50 so £75. Happy days

quite a few have won this month. Always a joyful feeling seeing the dancing lady in the rain kr sunshine

Do you think they have area agents so they can pop back home if you are out? Or that nowadays it's done by phone - although, I would guess that most would think it a scam if they did!

There's an NS&I office in my town, I always wonder if there's an agent million working there! It would be a lovely short trip to come and see me Smile

I have about £30 of bonds from the 70's. I've won a few hundred off those. So I bought 20k worth when I inherited some money and have won about £300 in over a year. Not a great ROI.

The odds have gone from 1 in 24000 to 1 in 22000 and they are upping all the prizes including the £25

The prize fund rate is currently 3.7%, and it will increase to 4.0% from August onwards.

It's variable and is changed in response to changes in interest rates.

So I'm still in for the PB draws - I withdrew 40k last month from FH for my house deposit however my house move fell through one week before the moving date 😭 got 10k in the draw this month and will be back to FH next month. DH has now put his share of the house deposit into PBs as we're unlikely to get moved any time soon, so may as well have a bit of fun with the extra cash until it's needed.

I've had to withdraw the majority of my PB this month as I desperately needed a new car, wanted to buy electric and didn't want to get it on finance, so I'm down to just £1k PB holding.

It would be amazing if I got the knock on the door tomorrow though!

Oh that's crap, I'm sorry. House buying is so bloody stressful. We moved about a year ago and I swear im still recovering from it!

I had to take 6k out of my bonds for house repair stuff so I only have about 5k in holdings now. Still - that's a better shot than nothing at all so fingers crossed! Could do with it as my pay is still coming in short due to extended sick leave earlier this year.

Yep - good news! Apparently 4% is the highest rate since 2007....

I'm afraid not.

I think you have to hold the bonds for a full calendar month before the are eligible for a draw, so I don't think they'll be in August's either.
