I just wonder if it's worthwhile to do salary sacrifice for them cycle to work scheme I mean, I just want a basic bike some accessories, perhaps trainers and I wonder whether it's best to go suicide sacrifice or just a boy secondhand things less of administration? I am a taxpayer of about 20% per month, so salary sacrifice will just probably just be 20%, I could achieve

Have you looked at the scheme rules? I briefly looked through the rules at my old employer and you had to purchase the bike from a select set of stores. The cheapest was around £800!

I think there might be some typos in the OP, but it's worth finding out which cycle to work scheme provider your workplace uses.

Yes you get 20% off not just the bike but accessories like a helmet, mud guards and lights. It quickly adds up and the 20% off makes a big difference.

It's not 20% because you also save the national insurance too, so more like 32%
