UC sanctions - when do you know?

When do you know if you have been sanctioned by UC? Was meant to receive payment, but have not and have not had statement or anything put in journal. Have phoned UC and was told they would call back before 6. This is not looking likely 🙄. Any experiences of this welcome, thank you

They would not stop your whole payment for a sanction. You would still get a statement if you had bene sanctioned. There must be something blocking the payment. Is there anything on your to do list that you have not done?

The fact you haven't received a statement seems more likely to be an error than a sanction. With a sanction you should still get a statement - it will just show a deduction for the sanction.

Thank you, this is a relief to know! Hopefully will get through to them again tomorrow and find out! The journal entry said to declare childcare changes, however I have no changes as my childcare arrangements are the same? I have an outstanding invoice from preschool that I can't pay until I receive UC, however I haven't declared this invoice as childcare costs because I haven't paid it to claim it back! So confused.

Write in your journal. They usually reply
