'Your income tax has not been calculated yet for 22-23'

Anyone else who is employed only seeing this message in their HMRC self-assessment account? I'm not sure what info they are waiting for!

Yes mine says the same. Apparently it could be June before it's finalised but no clue why it takes so long.

Ah great thanks both. As I'm employed only and can see they have my salary payments up to and including March 2023 in my records there I wondered what was going on!

Do they maybe need p60/p11d to be processed by your employer?
I haven't checked gateway yet (I'm a 30th Jan kinda person) but I got my self-assessment letter on 5th April so obviously sent out early.

I got my letter on 5 April too hence was surprised to go in and see that message! Maybe they are waiting for P60s, thanks :)

DH is due a tax rebate and had a letter saying between June and November.

For a possible P11D? The reporting deadline isn't until 6th July.

Yes I get this too, by my calculations I’m owed about £600 and they haven’t sent my new tax code to my employer yet either! So paying £100 more in tax each month than I should be as well! Where did you see it gave you date to expect the calculations?

My husbands was showing on his tax portal.
