I paid off my council tax arrears!

hi all

i hope it is ok to share my success here as I am proud of myself. A year ago I had £804 in council tax arrears, and now I've finally paid them off 🥳

Still have £4.5k credit card debts to pay off but slowly getting there.

I feel like there's a little less weight on the shoulders at least.

That's great! Just ticking one off the list does give a boost. Do you have a plan for the credit cards? Have you got them onto a 0% card or the lowest interest rate available to you?

I've been on a debt management plan with StepChange for a couple of years, but I will be able to increase the amount now I've paid off the CT arrears!

Thanks all ❤️ I've got such a healthier relationship with money now, which is also liberating.
