UC child disability element

Hey all just need some advice... my little one got accepted for HRC I am on UC , and have made the change which entitled to a extra 414 a month I have requested it be backdated and made the change from 17th November 2022 .. I can see the extra 414 on April's statement but cannot see the change on previous months can anyone shed some light on how long it takes please thankyou.

It would need to go to a decision maker for the backdate so can take a few weeks to sort.

Thankyou for your reply I did recieve a letter on my journal stating the decision maker on this occasion has basically accepted it but there just had been no more mention of anything in my journal about any backdate . Would I need to put another message on to state I want it backdating from the 17th ? I think I already have though to be honest .

Hey do you no if I can claim carers element and the severe disability element at the same time as I've researched and it's saying I can't but allot of people are saying you can ? X

The same person can't get LCWRA (is that what you mean by the severe disability element) and the carers element.
If you're in a couple one can get LCWRA and the other can get the carers element.
