Can someone explain tax free childcare limits to me?

Sorry for being dense, but I can't find a straight answer online.
My baby's nursery have increased their prices from January and his place is now just over 2k per month (I know it's expensive but shockingly it's not even the most expensive nursery in the area).
Does the government not top up you tax free childcare if you pay in more than 2k per deposit? I've just noticed that they haven't been adding anything to my account on top

Thank you

It's a total of £500 every three months that they will add in. So you will max that out and won't get any more top ups until the start of the next three month period.

You only get £2000 per year so £500 per quarter. They won't top up anymore than that.

I don't seem to have had any top ups since January, when I've started putting over 2k in

Wow, turns out I am dense, I'd missed the confirmation deadline, that's why 🙄
