Metro Bank I waited 7 months for Metro Bank to transfer my ISA to Virgin Money. Upon maturity they transferred my money into an Easy ISA Access a/c, paying .25%. Metro Bank also put somebody else's National Insurance Number on my ISA A/c and insisted it was my National Insurance Number. I have had my NI No. insince 1960 and had to prove to Metro Bank they had somebody else's NI No. Only then would they change my NI No. I have been told they have breached Data Protection. I spent numerous hours travelling into Manchester and writing letters. Their staff were obstructive, rude, aggressive. I am a 78 year old female, I really do not need this trauma in my life.
