I’m just preparing myself really with what I might expect when I call as I’m going through a really difficult time and struggling to process information so I know I’ll end up overwhelmed on the phone, I’m assuming others have made this same call.
My card limit is £500 (I’ve had it around a year). I have now missed two consecutive payments and my balance to pay is £594.
A quick google suggests they stopped offering repayment options in October which has me really worried given the current circs we’re all facing.
What are my options?

What can you afford to pay now?

I'd get in touch with the debt charity StepChange. They're brilliant, I had to contact them many years ago and after one call i felt like the world had been lifted off my shoulders. Good luck x

They can't stop offering repayments options. Ring then and be honest, write down your finances now because they will want to go through it with you to see your affordability. I am on a long term repayment plan with them.

Hard to say without a full picture of your circumstances, incoming and outgoings.

Have a look at the debt help section of money saving expert, put together a comprehensive budget then go through all the relevant suggestions.

The minimum payment on a £500 credit card bill should be quite small so if you're unable to keep up with that, it suggests you may have significant financial difficulties.

But you should also be available that only paying the minimum could effectively trap you in debt for years as most of what you pay goes on interest, so is likely to be a trigger to get formal advice.
