Tax credits re-application, how long does it take?

They have "not received" i.e. lost my annual declaration (even though my income has not changed since having dd in 2004 and this was for 2005-2006!) and so have stopped my tax credits and need to re-apply. How long does it take? At the mo it is our only income and it's dd's birthday in three weeks so am getting stressed!

I cant tell you exactly , but i think it can be quite fast once you get the application.
I have had mine stopped too, for some reason i cant ascertain , apparently I have to reapply as well.
