Chase saver account

prettygreenteacup · 03/02/2023 10:50

I'm looking for an instant access savings account for a lump sum, and to continue saving into and Chase seem to have a good rate and there's no limit on withdrawals, and monthly interest

Does anyone bank with Chase and how do you find them?

We have them. Great interest rate. No issues.

prettygreenteacup · 03/02/2023 11:19

Good to know! I certainly can't seem to find any better deals elsewhere, and I don't want to have limits on when I move my savings either.

i have accounts with them and not had a problem

ExplodingCarrots · 03/02/2023 14:09

We use chase and it's great . You get cash back everytime you use it . It goes into a reward fund and you can transfer into normal account or any of your savers .

We use it abroad , no charges and no issues .

TheCatch · 03/02/2023 14:25

What is the interest rate on the Cahse account? HSBC has an online bonus account that gives 3%, just wondering if Chase might be better.

LeafHunter · 03/02/2023 15:38

It’s 3% on chase. It was 2.4 but went up today.

BookWorm45 · 03/02/2023 16:27

I like the cashback option they give. The only irritation for me is that you can only access the details of transactions etc via a phone app - there is no option to use a webpage for example. Mostly this doesn't matter but in the event that you want to download a load of transactions, it is more fiddly and awkward.

helloimnew123 · 03/02/2023 16:40

Iv got a savings and debit account with them. No problems at all.
Good rates on savings and cashback on debit account.

padsi1975 · 03/02/2023 16:43

I have a Chase account. Really like the app. Cash back, round up and decent interest rate too.

LikeTearsInRain · 04/02/2023 09:17

I don’t use the bank account I have with them at all but use the savings.

App works fine. Payments in from my other bank account work fine.

Go for it

3% interest rate from 13 February I believe

Oakbeam · 04/02/2023 09:23

I have one. It works well, although it is a bit frustrating to only be able to install the app on one device only. Also, there is no way of paying cheques in, so not really suitable as a sole bank account.

Overseas spending is good too.

Oakbeam · 04/02/2023 09:24

It was 2.7.

sweetheartyparty · 04/02/2023 09:37

Chase will pay 3% from 13 February. I am happy with it. I have a £350 treat fund from round ups and the cashback on debit card payments all achieved within a year

hoochyhag · 04/02/2023 09:41

As others have said, instant access 3%
Been with them a year or so, not my main bank. I have found them great, no problems.

I use the savings for my holiday account . No issue getting funds in and out - more or less instant in my case

Have you used chase abroad ? I think I'll put my holiday money in there and use my card.

I didn't personally, I like revolut as I like to exchange prior to going so I know exactly how many euros / dollars I m paying .
But when we went to new York in November my friends did with no issues except you can't withdraw cash abroad only use the card .

Oakbeam · 04/02/2023 10:02

I have with no problems. Including withdrawing cash from ATMs.

fortheloveofcheesecake · 04/02/2023 10:02

I have chase. I use the savings account mainly, but have also used the current account abroad with no problems. It's not my main account but I'm very happy with it for what I use it for.

FannythePinkFlamingo · 04/02/2023 10:03

I have a Chase account. I primarily use it for holiday spending as the exchange rate is only the Mastercard base rate so really low. No issues transferring money in and out. Am tempted to move my savings into there too.

Merrow · 04/02/2023 10:05

I use chase. I really like that you can have multiple savings accounts so that I can keep various pots fit different things. Previously had savings in Santander at 2.75%, but you could only have one account.

Also used the debit card abroad with no issues.

BitOutOfPractice · 04/02/2023 10:05

I use chase. Perfectly fine.

as a heads up first direct have a 7% savings account. You can save up to £300 a month.

Bringnbuy77 · 04/02/2023 10:05

Chase is great, we got it originally to use abroad but they give you a year of 1% cash back - even on our new car! They seem really easy and great interest.

You got cash back on the car ? Amazing.

Thanks for the answers regarding using abroad. I'll definitely be using it now.
