Living will

My parents spoke to me about an article they read about how making a living will could protect their home and savings from being eaten by care home fees. Does anyone know anything about these wills and if so, what the pros and cons are. Is there anything we should bear in mind? They want to have me and my siblings as the trust members/holders (I can't remember the term).

I’ve only ever heard of living wills in relation to health and welfare decisions I.e what treatment/interventions you do and more importantly do not want.www.ageuk.org.uk/information-advice/money-legal/legal-issues/advance-decisions/

Make sure they get legal advice.
