I work in a school and I'm handing my notice in on Tues 17 Jan. As I have to give a calendar month's notice, my last day will be Friday 17 Feb, but as it's Half Term from
Mon 13 Feb - Fri 17 Feb, I will get paid for the school holiday. However, my new employer wants me to start Weds 15 Feb, so am I allowed to get paid for 3 days (15th-17th Feb) by both employers or will it cause issues?

No. When you write your letter give that as your date. You can’t be employed by both places at the same time.
As someone who did school payroll I would just pay you on the months notice. So I would give your notice on the 14th for one month.

Of course you can be employed by two companies at once.

OP, your proposal sounds fine. The school won't know, it's not as if you're meant to be working on those days.

Good luck in your new job.
