Selling engagement ring

I've been divorced years and could do with the cash. Anyone know the best place to sell it as I don't want to be ripped off?

second hand jewellery doesn’t sell for much, often just gold price nothing for the stones unless there are good quality, go into a few jewellers for a price OP.

I worked in a jewellery store, high street chain so not high end. The value will only be the gold unless it’s a good quality solitaire diamond.

eBay is your best place to sell and get the top price

This is what a jeweller told me and he was right.
