Just in case you haven't heard of this website, its fantastic at offering alternate numbers to all those non-geographical ones. I loathe the thought that these companies are charging me to wait in their bloody queues, esp since I cant call them free from my mobile any more.
The site is really easy to use and sometimes you get through quicker because it avoids the queue altogther.
