Chargeback query

Does anyone know if a chargeback claim can be made of payments made via the banking app - i think they are also called fast/faster payments? Account is a debit card account but online information is unclear whether a chargeback claim can be submitted for these types of payments?

The bank is also unclear and just say it's not a fraudulent transaction so won't investigate.

No, chargebacks are for payments made by card. if you have made a payment yourself by typing in someone bank account number etc, once it has been sent then you can't get it back.
