Bank switch help..

I switched to first direct from Halifax 2 weeks ago. It was only to get the £175.. which I haven't had yet. Those who've done this, how long did the money take to land in your bank?
Also with my old bank I had a £200 overdraft where as I can't get approved for one with first direct, why could this be?

I've just done this and I think it said you had to deposit £1000 and you would receive the £175 within 3 months.

First direct normally pay a lot quicker. Need to be careful that you have not opened a HSBC account after Apr 2019 (check) or you will not be eligible.
