Maternity allowance, employed/agency worker

I had a text this week to say my form has been received by the department and they will get back to me within 4 weeks with a decision however I'm on pins about it 😩I've sent all the relevant documentation with the form, smp1, matb1 and correct amount of payslips but I'm worried I won't get it, I'm currently off sick due to my mh and I'm eligible for stat sick pay through my employer.

I have been with the agency since March 2022 and I haven't worked every single week because sometimes there hasn't been the work available or not suitable for me to fulfill. So I don't really know how it works in my situation 😕 has anyone been in similar position/agency worker and received ma successfully?

Dint you have to work so many weeks within a 66 week period?

I'm going to call MA next week and see if I can find out some more information based on my circumstances @RedHelenB

If it takes a long time don't panic, it's not because there's anything wrong, they sometimes just take ages. I sent my form in as soon as I was far enough along, and the baby was about 2 months old before I got any payments.

Thanks @Sprogonthetyne I know they've received my form as I got a text from them to say so. I sent mine the earliest date I could too! Someone else on here said their turnaround from November was really quick.

Maybe I'm panicking for nothing.
