Getting a CCJ removed

I recently received notification of a claim against me relating to a parking ticket from 2018. Long story - I thought I had already paid this, turns out it was a different one at the same location. Anyway, the total claim was for £306.64. With Christmas coming I am trying to manage my cash as best I can so I filled out the forms and sent them back offering to pay the amount off in 3 instalments. Within a week, and with no further correspondence I have had a CCJ appear on my credit report for £346. Maybe I misunderstood the conditions but I didn't expect this - I thought they would either agree the 3 payments or reject it and I would then have to pay the full amount. Feeling a bit silly now and panicking as my credit score was previously good but has obviously dropped off a cliff since this happened. I've never had so much as a missed payment in the past! I need to get a new car and was planning to apply for a loan to part finance this in March next year - now I'm really worried about my chances of acceptance. I have read that if the amount is paid in full within a month I can have the judgment removed. I have shuffled around some money and can pay it now but can anyone explain how I apply to have it removed, and give me any idea of how long that might take?? The advice I've found online is very vague!
