Current account switch

I have asked to switch my current account y to Nationwide because they have the £200 deal on. On looking, it appears they will close my cold current account (Lloyds).
I have a savings account with Lloyds. Does anyone know if those accounts would be ok? Or do I need a Lloyds current account?

It will depend on the terms of your savings account - some are stand alone, some have to be linked to a current account. You will need to check with Lloyds.

I just did this. My old current account with coop went after about a month. Saving account remains. Be warned Nationwide have got a bloody card reader thingy which is needed for new payments etc. Pain the the proverbial. Got the £200 switch money though.
