What does ‘normal basic pay’ mean - maternity

The organisation I work for mentions 26 weeks at normal basic pay, plus a further 13 weeks of statutory pay. Does ‘normal basic pay’ mean full pay or 90% pay or something else? I haven’t told work yet.

Not sure how it works in your organisation, but at DH’s work, normal basic pay is his pay before any extra money for things like overtime or bonuses is added.

Normal basic pay is what you usually get paid, without any overtime, bonuses or anything else added on.

Same here. When my organisation refers to basic pay they mean my full basic salary. And similarly I got 6 months full pay followed by 3 months statutory pay.

Your basic salary, not with overtime or bonuses etc
