Hi all,

we received our smart pay and go meter government energy grant of £66 8 days ago … and it’s nearly run out !!? Has anyone else’s lasted better ?

You've spent £66 in 8 days?

MultiTulip · 16/10/2022 21:25

That’s probably about average. The average bill is now £2500 a year with the price cap, which is £48 a week. Pre-pay meters charge slightly higher rates, so you’ve actually stretched it out a bit longer than an average household.

If you've debt on your meter, has any gone towards that?

I've spent £18 in the last week, heating hasn't been on though, it's still really mild where I am.
