Co op bank current account

I am considering switching to a co op account because I like their ethical stance, but I have read that their customer service and online banking is bad.

Does anyone have an account with them and willing to let me know what you think of it?
Thanks

Ive been with them ten years and think they are great. Banking app is better than others ive used and their charges are very fair. For example when hubby and me bought a house together HSBC charged hubby to move his money for sale of house as it was a large amount. Co op didnt charge a penny. You can use any major post office as a branch for paying in cheques ect which is handy.

Can you not pay cheques in over your phone?
Not that I get many cheques these days, but paying them in without having to go anywhere is very convenient.

I’ve been with coop for years, great bank.

I moved from them a few years ago - dreadful service in the branch I used. No practical help when my account details were stolen and used for unauthorised payments. Don’t think they now rate highly in any ethical areas these days. Would never recommend them.
