I got a payment of child winter heating allowance today - it's £214.

Just a heads up really if your child has recently moved on to the high rate for care or mobility, check your bank!

I had no idea this existed, although it only started in 2020, because DD was on middle rate care DLA, she now gets high rate care (low mobility) CDP so an unexpected but very welcome bonus today.

Just to clarify if they get PIP I think they have to be under 19 for this allowance.
