How have you found the housing situation over the past week. Have people been panicking or are people still viewing houses as much as before. I have been trying to move up the ladder for four years, in the past year all I've experienced is intense bidding wars.

We've lost a buyer, found a new one and lost them too in the last 2 weeks. Also we have reassessed our budget and had to reduce it given the rate increases. We are now thinking if we can't sell and find something before the next rate hike in Nov we need to just abort the plan and sit tight in our slightly too small house until we win the lottery 🤔

I've had three valuations in the last week. All below what neighbours' house sold for in the summer. I need to go into a cheaper house, but have no idea whether my large family house will get any interest now.

I really don't know what to do.
