Partner and I just had our offer accepted on our dream flat last week. Trying to sort out the mortgage and provide payslips etc. Absolute nightmare as we have a one year old who won’t give us peace lol.

Looking for encouragement and hope that it won’t all fall through and we’ll be heartbroken. We are first time buyers so obviously new to this. Is there anyone that has been in our position but the sale has not worked out and if so, what was the reason?

thanks guys!

Why is it a nightmare to sort out payslips? Take it it turns with your child to go and do what you need to. Buying can have real stresses, so don’t create needless ones from the start!
Good luck with the purchase!

Make a to do list and divide it up, then take it in turns to take your LO out whilst the other one gets on with their tasks

There are many reasons for a purchase (or sale) to fall through and most of them are out of your control. It is a long, slippery path with many pitfalls along the way.
This (simple, very early) step is completely within your control so you have to just get on with it to avoid unnecessary delays.

TBH you could have prepared this sort of thing while you were still looking.

Good luck, keep your fingers crossed and with a following wind you will make it. 😁
