Am owed universal credit..help please

My daughter is owed £600 UC for her rent . UC are saying that because she moved from her flat a few days before her UC was due she is not entitled to the 3 weeks rent that she has paid .
She moved out when her rent contract finished which was a week short of her UC payment period.
Can anyone help or give advice please

It depends on her circumstances on the last day of her UC assessment period.

She had moved back with us temporarily but had already paid three weeks rent . UC is always in arrears so she should be owed the three weeks. Otherwise UC only works if you literally move the day after the assessment day ! It just doesn’t make sense TBH .
