Just wondering is Crisp still paying £10 an hour for non ppi work?

ruralwanderer · 21/09/2022 06:52

@Darcy101 yes Smile

Love it when you get booted off two Ap projects for not doing any work, when there was never any work on there to do...!

Also not had anything to do on WWW or SSci for over a week now, this month is going to be absolutely dire.

dottycats · 21/09/2022 14:30

@Twobecomingthreeplusthedog I had this too. I just kept resubmitting my ticket and eventually one of the support people helped. It took two months though.

ruralwanderer · 21/09/2022 17:01

@8DPWoah have you updated your SSci profile to state that you're available?

Having a nightmare logging in to or trying to clickworker can anyone help?

Graphista · 22/09/2022 19:11

Freelancer.com just joined this on the months free trial.

Not sure what work experience to put.

Main issues are -

Certain job titles don't sound very impressive but the work was quite specialised and involved?

Last job I had would be quite relevant but... I left under something of a cloud as I had a nightmare immediate boss who basically bullied me out but I think I did good work I'm just not sure what they would say if contacted/saw I was using them on there? Tricky one

It was quite a while before that when I had a relevant job to refer to

I don't know how to mention more hobby based activities?

8DPWoah · 22/09/2022 19:43

@ruralwanderer yes it's the same as it ever has been, I don't think my topics are very in demand as I only ever do the little short ones (which is fine, they are what they are). Have been paid as normal so hopefully just a sit and wait 🙂

WWW has been basically silent all week, not even any files I'd normally turn over. At this rate I might have to look for a shock 'proper job 😂😭

I was just moved to WWW autoclaim from training and there was not a single file for a week. They had to allocate me a file separately. If this is the quantity of work available then it’s probably not for me after all.

8DPWoah · 22/09/2022 23:52

It's really unusual @DontTouchThat but does seem to be since the new platform has come in. Hoping it picks up as I guess the holiday season, and unis being off, reduces the amount of files coming in. Hope I'm right 😬

stillherenow · 24/09/2022 08:24

How do you get on the paid shifts at potatoes? Do you get an invite eventually or should I request ?

ruralwanderer · 24/09/2022 12:05

@stillherenow, they advertise them on Slack but unfortunately they go quicker than a sneeze! I quite often end up booking a 6-8am shift on a Sunday as that's all that I can get, having sat refreshing my screen continuously from a minute before they're launched each week and pouncing on each one I want to no avail😖

Just a warning the same surveys are on AttaPoll this weekend. It is frustrating to do the surveys and not get paid so I am just avoiding them now.

I have done a few things with Intellizoom now but not been paid for anything. Does it normally take a while to be paid.

Thank you , how do you apply for them? Do you just message the shift leader?

PurpleFrog · 24/09/2022 13:26

@stayingaliveisawayoflife I am also wondering about Intellizoom. I still have $17 worth of studies to hear about. I registered with them near the beginning of this month. So far I have not seen any money. I have only managed to complete 5 studies so far without being screened out. I am being screened out of around 75% of all the studies I have attempted - sometimes after they have gained useful information from me. It took them over 2 weeks to tell me that I failed the practice "Think Out Loud" study. They say it will take up to 3 weeks to get paid, but I didn't expect it to take that for each study. I am not impressed.

On the other hand I have been doing studies with Prolific for 3.5 months now. I have done some really enjoyable and interesting studies. I can count on one hand the number of studies that have screened me out after I have started them. I have had a few small issues, but have been happy with the way they have been dealt with. I am averaging about £75 per month on Prolific.

stayingaliveisawayoflife · 24/09/2022 13:27

@PurpleFrog that is interesting info thank you. Are they just called prolific?

The link to sign up to Prolific is given in the list above in the "Survey" section.

ruralwanderer · 25/09/2022 08:07

Intellizoom always pay but they do take the full 30 days to do so.

@stillherenow I'll PM you Smile

Potatoes is doing a lot more surges atm. Often 7/8am . I'm often on around 8am while I wait for dd to get out of the door and have managed to get on a few. Not sure I'll make my target £100 still this month but I'm getting back into it courtesy of seeing surges back on!!

lookthisway · 26/09/2022 10:04

Regarding potatoes, am I wrong in thinking they are a bit slow in paying our invoices this month? I do bank transfers but have not received anything yet. Last month I was pleasantly surprised as got paid within 5 days but looks like that was a one-off. Probably has something to do with the extra bank holiday!

Adelais · 26/09/2022 21:38

@lookthisway I got paid on the 22nd by bank transfer. They were late sending out invoices this month though.

8DPWoah · 27/09/2022 09:15

Getting quite worried about WWW now as there hasn't been a scrap of work for ages - I might get in touch with them after we've been paid just in case it's an issue with me or my account. I've never known it so dry for so long and I'm really worried about my bills for next month as a result 😬

Darcy101 · 27/09/2022 14:09

ruralwanderer · 21/09/2022 06:52

I thought as much, they haven't put that rate up for at least 9 years!

PleaseGoDontGoAgain · 27/09/2022 20:34

@lookthisway I'm also bank transfer I've just searched last 2 years worth of payments and this is unusual.usually paid by 25th at latest I'm messaging them to ask what's up

skedaddler · 27/09/2022 22:15

I'm bank transfer but I thought payment was around 14th?
