@stillherenow yes - I’m on A**as and I like it - have had a really good month of work on a sub project within it and the chat is inundated with newbies at the moment so I assume there must be a big drop of work planned. It’s my only Ap project at the moment so really pleased there is work.

I’ve had so much work on this project that I’ve not really done anything else in the last month - I need to check into Prolific as I don’t want them to boot me for not doing any surveys (is that a thing?). Making hay while the sun shines though as we all know either the project or I could be pulled with Ap with no warning!

MrsWombat · 03/09/2022 20:57

I've just got back into Prolific after 18 months away!

SilverWing · 03/09/2022 20:57

I’ve qualified for that Ap project recently too but not received the ‘move to production’ email yet.

lostvillagegirl · 04/09/2022 02:00

Thanks for all the recommendations!! Could someone explain how crisp works? From a glance on the website it looks abit dauntiing!

ruralwanderer · 04/09/2022 08:22

@lostvillagegirl it's moderating social media content and a lot less scary than it sounds once you get going. There's quite a long waiting list but the sooner you get onto it, the sooner you'll get working, so I'd recommend having a go at the test. You need to score 19 out of 20 to pass but can keep re-taking it as many times as you need to so don't be disheartened if you don't pass first time, just keep trying Smile

PoseyFlump · 04/09/2022 18:35

@lostvillagegirl and when we say quite a long waiting list it usually means years, not weeks. I passed over a year ago and still not on yet and I know some posters here said it took them a couple of years. (Just so you know what to expect!)

FunkyBunch26 · 04/09/2022 19:27

Thanks for this thread! Discovered last month and hoping it can help us through a tricky few months. I’m on waiting lists for Rev, Crisp, Prolific and got small amounts trickling in from Intellizoom and Attapol.

Could someone tell me more about potatoes? Seen it mentioned a few times but can’t find a link. Apologies if it’s already been covered

8DPWoah · 04/09/2022 21:18

Hi everyone, not a very good month for me as lost a week of my App hour a day with me having submitted enough data and haven't managed to fill the gap yet, I'm on a few new to me projects on App but none have any work. And I didn't get much transcription done either 😬 I think I'm just about £400 this month which isn't really close to what I aim for.

As an aside, is anyone that is a WWW doing the side project this weekend? Tearing my hair out a bit with it to be honest but wondering if it's just me? Might be one for DM chat though.

Buster27 · 04/09/2022 23:09

@FunkyBunch26 Potatoes is Crisp Smile just a long-standing thread joke.

Gatekeeper · 05/09/2022 18:16

I passed the test for Crisp Feb 2020 and I'm still waiting!

MovinOnUp · 05/09/2022 18:25

Have added this thread to watchlist as I cooked the books last night and we have approx £97 leftover after bills are paid each month and maternity leave doesn't end until after New Year so something has got to give.
Will get a proper look when I fire up the laptop once the baby is down for the night.

mrsrobin · 05/09/2022 18:51

Clickworker - has anyone else not been able to do Vision Project and voice jobs lately? I have had a problem for months and am getting nowhere! This used to give me a regular income but no more. Anyone have ideas for an alternative?

mummy203 · 06/09/2022 00:25

Hello, I’m new this is my first month. Last week I read another mumsnet post about surveys last week and made £17.67 with out too much trouble at all. It’s a small start but I’m hooked! My aiming to make my monthly electric bill.

these are the sites and links I used, I get a small referral if you sign up via these
Streetbees
Attapoll
Qumee
Pickmypostcode

PeachesVonBeach · 06/09/2022 10:26

Morning all! I'm joining in with this as am at a bit of a loose end with not working / kids at school. I've been looking for a term time job for ages but can't find anything that really fits around family life and also feeling totally useless as a non-working SAHM who failed to get a social media business off the ground. I am planning to do a bit of copywriting but only ever had very sporadic paid work in the past. Does anyone do this on Fivrr? I've never known what to charge or how to "market" myself shudder.

I've signed up for mystery shopping, Appen, UserTesting and have a heap of stuff to sell on Vinted and Ebay. I'm feeling a bit daunted by it all at the moment, so thought I'd come and say hello 😊

BoyMumGem · 06/09/2022 13:53

Hi everyone 👋 I’ve been following these threads since last month as needed a little income top up, gone through lots of previous ones and they are great! Thanks so much for sharing so much info. So just got started first week in August and made about £80 for the month. Using uTest, intellizoom, clickworker and vinted. My goal going forwards is £10 a day during the week (although more would obviously be great!)

I have signed up to Appen and have been accepted onto about 5 projects but haven’t actually competed any tasks yet. Do I just wait for them to email me? Some I was accepted on to beginning of August.

TPL · 06/09/2022 14:35

Gatekeeper · 05/09/2022 18:16

I passed the test for Crisp Feb 2020 and I'm still waiting!

Same here! I've given up ever getting accepted at this point.

@FunkyBunch26 Potatoes is Crisp Smile just a long-standing thread joke.

Ahhh 😂thank you!

mrsrobin · 07/09/2022 07:12

@BoyMumGem Re Appen - yes that is how it works - just sign up for as many as you like and at some point, you get an email to say the project is starting. This could be within a couple of months, longer, or never!

stillherenow · 08/09/2022 14:33

Loads of content on potatoes all day, hope they add a surge or two...

WickedPanda · 08/09/2022 20:22

Im having an awful start to the month.
Utest I think I’ll give up, 2 bloody days I’ve worked on a test case, hours spent screen recording and compressing videos, then arsey team leads to contend with, not worth it.

WWW, I’m just not feeling it. It takes me too long to research words… interpret names, currently in bloody Dutch and the pay is awful

Urgh

ruralwanderer · 09/09/2022 07:17

@WickedPandathat sounds frustrating! I'm not on WWW so can't give any advice on that platform but everyone here says the team there are good - have you messaged for support about that particular file? You may be able to return it and pick up an easier one to restore your confidence a bit?

Has anyone taken part in any surveys with respondent? I had an email from them offering me a place but I don’t remember applying and want to check it’s not spam.

lookthisway · 09/09/2022 17:17

Question for fellow potato peelers, have you received this month's invoice yet?

stillherenow · 09/09/2022 18:39

No I was just thinking about that today

stillherenow · 09/09/2022 18:41

Just looked back it and the potatoes invoice usually arrives on the 14th
