Any one ever been repossessed?

Im not about to be repossessed, i was just making my little boys bed and looked round his room. It made me want to cry that if that were ever to happen, he would no longer have his little room or bed.
I am pre menstrual and very tearful today
It just got me thinking that it is just so unthinkable and how do people cope with such a devastating event.

depending on the circumstances there are different things you can do and assistance you can get

I lost my flat a couple of years ago when I went bankrupt. It was heartbreaking but luckily I had just started a relationship and was able to move in with my OH. If it hadn't been for that I would have had to move in with a friend and her family because my salary at the time was £2k over the amount you can earn to be put on the council list.
I have now moved a long, long way away from that area because I couldn't bear to drive past my old place.
I am hoping to be able to buy our own home again in the future but it is a long way off.
