Carers allowance 2022 how long

Hi does anyone know how long carers allowance is taking 2022? I applied on the 25th of July and told its with a final decision maker but nothing since

Thats no time at all.

I know so I'm wondering how long its taking others

Mine took 13 weeks recently

I'm in week 13 and still nothing

Hi has anyone applied before and had a claim colse and re applied when able? I re applied on the 11th of July and I rang last week he said no update yet. Just curious if anyone else has done this and how long

Does anyone know on uc if you can claim carers and severe child disabled element?

There is a disability element and a carers element on uc and I’m on week 7 still waiting for carers xx

To which I would add that once the DLA/PIP for the cared-for person is in place, the carer's element can be added to the UC.

You don't have to wait for carer's allowance to be in payment.

i’m not sure about reapplying but i only applied last week and had backpay today
