As the title says. Tell me I'm not the only one. And can anyone remember how you do it online? Am i right in thinking you need to register several days before the deadline...

Like you, I was dreading doing it, but the online site works really well and once you start it's really easy. I did mine last week. You have to register for your password and they post it to you; mine took two days but there might be a bit of a rush on now!

virgo Re interest - if you reduced your payments on account to zero - but should have paid something based on last years tax, and then you actually have tax due - then you shouldn't have reduced to zero and so they charge interest on what should have been paid. That probably doesn't make sense.

I did mine last week, but haven't worked as self employed this year so it only has my wages from the KIT days I do....which I have already been taxed on.

They do my calcs and I owe them 40p as my employer worked my tax out wrong.
