Cost of living payment - switching benefits

I am planning to switch to Universal Credit from Tax Credits. DH & I met the condition for the cost of living payment, but people on Tax Credits don't get the payment until the Autumn.

Does anyone know whether we will still get the first cost of living payment when we switch, or will we lose it because once they pay out the first payment for people on Tax Credits, we won't be on Tax Credits anymore, but people on Universal Credit have already received their first payment, and we're not on it yet (and weren't on it on the qualifying date)?

I think the payment is based on what you were receiving April-May 22. The exact dates are on the government website. So even if you were no longer receiving any benefits, you'll still get the payment if you were receiving them at that time.

Thank you @Peaceatdawn - I'd missed the bit where it says that the payment method will be used that was in force at the time of qualification.
