Hi,

I'm a little confused,

I've just lived from one rented place to the next,

I have a old council tax bill, at my old address, now I've moved to a new address different Area, so I pay my old council tax bill as well as my new council tax bill to a different council,

How does it work? Does my old bill disappear now because I've left,

Thanks x

Update your details with the council. You stop paying on your old property and pay on your new one from when you moved in.

As the above post states you inform council tax if your move.

did you have an overlap of tenancy? Where you had both properties in your name?
