Exactly

Twentytwentyhindsight · 03/08/2022 13:33

Yes, for people who sell themselves as 'mentors to millionaires', said millionaire mentees are rather thin on the ground...
Never mind, what they are selling is the lifestyles they themselves project, and they are selling it to people so desperate, deluded or brainwashed by MLM that they cannot or will not look beyond the smoke and mirrors.
Castle contradicts herself every time she opens her mouth, but the minions lap up every piece of drivel as though it was biblical revelation. No wonder she is herself deluded as to her worth...

BSintolerant · 03/08/2022 13:54

Manifesting is a symptom of sheer desperation. When will they learn?

Spongebobette · 03/08/2022 13:58

Is it just another word for wishful thinking?

Spongebobette · 03/08/2022 14:07

I think Castle has a problem; she needs a constant stream of new shiny things to keep her happy, except that the buzz she gets from the purchase/ acquisition/ experience (and the buzz from boasting about it) is short lived
…and then she needs something new

she’s never content - it’s clear she’s jealous of her business partner’s glamorous home and she’d like one but it’s out of reach and she can’t have the instant gratification she craves

One would have empathy for her, sadly, her drive for a better lifestyle is at the detriment of others.

She has ZERO abilty to stick to anything, all of her fads over the last 4 years have lasted less than a week.

Tennis anyone?

YouOKHun · 03/08/2022 15:10

Resorting to manifesting is a sign that Castle has run out of material isn’t it? How is she going to fill the void and keep the £39s rolling in until September? Imagine paying just shy of forty quid to watch someone else’s wishful thinking/delusions!

I think Castle likes things nicely on the distant horizon, the bit where she dreams of what typeface to use on the website, how to arrange her pastel coloured stationery and what tops she’s going to wear for the Lives and how much money she’s going to make, and all the lovely photos she’s going to have taken. Then when it is no longer on the horizon and becomes about application it’s boring and she can’t stay the course and has nothing to give. I sometimes wonder if she has ADHD - I have Inattentive type having been diagnosed at 52 (yes I am ancient), I have grappled with similar (long story) and she very much fits the criteria to my mind (I know we shouldn’t over pathologise and obviously “diagnosing” people on MN is not sensible really). If I had been left to go feral in an MLM … I hate to think, but it might look something like Castle (never been in MLM I hasten to add!).

The beginning of term launch will be more of the same drivel but more shouty. I wonder who will cotton on and try and cancel at that point? Come September we will all be looking at how to save money so we can hand it all to EDF, Southern Electric etc so I would expect even the most gullible to quit for practical reasons. Tricky for C&F; they either let them cancel quietly without fuss to keep any disquiet out of the picture, but make it too easy and they will haemorrhage paid up victims, or they try and enforce their terms and end up with more public upset which will ruin things. I can’t see Spamversity reaching the Christmas holidays (or even October).

it will be interesting to see Castle’s speedy downfall without the prop of FLP. I know that descent has already started but it must pick up speed now surely? Fierce’s mother has started a Tropic “business” so I expect that will get added to the “portfolio” of “multi-million pound businesses”. Perhaps Fierce will tap into what’s left of Castle’s following to prop up a Tropic sideline. I expect she’ll pick over the carcass of Castle’s empire then drop her.

PS: sorry about the rambling posts. Had a few days off so have had time to waffle. Will be back at work tomorrow so things should improve 😬

Spongebobette · 03/08/2022 15:15

I like a good waffle!

I agree that Fierce got into this partnership for a fresh supply of victims. I think she’s ruthless and will dump Castle once she’s got any benefits out of her (including presumably free graphics and marketing work from Bruv)

Ohnonevermind · 03/08/2022 17:21

@YouOKHun

i did wonder about adhd too, having a daughter and so who have been diagnosed and recognising some inherited traits. But my kids last longer than her at anything 🤣

She may well have adhd but her real problems are personality based. Her parents have created someone with serious narcissistic tendencies.

Spongebobette · 03/08/2022 21:27

Ah here we go.
Castle is making some big decisions for the family (complete with a typo)

she wants to emulate Fierce and will shortly be flitting abroad, is my prediction

Twentytwentyhindsight · 03/08/2022 21:39

Knowing Castle's MO, she is clearly not getting enough attention and will now unroll yet another 'big announcement' over as long a period as she can.
Whether it's moving abroad or just changing the seat on the downstairs bog, she could just say what it is right now, but she will spin it out for ages...
Completely run out of ideas and desperate for 'engagement'.

YouOKHun · 03/08/2022 22:01

Yes, I bet you are both right @Spongebobette and @Twentytwentyhindsight, she had her head turned by her few days staying at Villa Scamming with all its potential for escaping creditors, HMRC etc. She wouldn’t be the first bot to disappear off to Spain (though they usually come back to the U.K. with their tale between their legs soon after don’t they?).

I wouldn’t want to be Castle trapped in Spain when she falls out with Fierce and worst still falls out with Mr Fierce (who doesn’t get good press from previous victims). I hope she is just changing the downstairs big seat as that will be less likely to cause misery for her rather solitary DS ☹️

Ohnonevermind · 03/08/2022 22:40

i can see them heading to Spain. Her parents will have to follow them as they have no choice now.

SnoogyWoo · 03/08/2022 22:48

All these massive plans Yawns new victims (recruits) have but we never see anything come to fruition lol

This is totally going to happen. With that huge house sold, they could buy a house each in Spain!

Twentytwentyhindsight · 03/08/2022 23:09

Parents will get the staff lodgings, complete with buzzer for when Castle needs to palm the kids off.

Ohnonevermind · 03/08/2022 23:29

Castle must be losing a lot of money at the moment. I’m not sure how much equity she would have to fund a new move.

Her parents sold their house for a good price but guess they’ve given kids money so how much is left. They’ve spent a lot on their mobile home too.
They’ll probably post about how grateful they are to move somewhere new and how lucky they are that their amazing daughter has given them this opportunity.

DecemberGal · 04/08/2022 07:25

As castles mum is also in FL they have no qualms about rinsing people off.
You can only play the grieving card for so long.
Im puzzled why we on MN can see through the scamversity but the starry eyed bots can’t.

CleopatrasBeautifulNose · 04/08/2022 07:58

Hi, sorry to butt in on your thread but I wanted a spot of advice please. I have had a Facebook friend request from the mum of my son's closest friend. There is every chance we will be hosting each others kids and already see each other at activity clubs, she seems lovely, so though we aren't friends it would be weird to refuse it so I didn't.
She is eyeball deep in Arbonne and her page feed is all about the amazing world of arbonne. I don't know much about it other than it looks like bs to me.
Could you give me a bit of a presse on what the problem is (is it pyramid selling?) with these schemes and why I should be wary of getting roped in pls? Can't help but feel I'm going to get some chat about it soon judging by the enthusiasm on her feed. 🤔

CleopatrasBeautifulNose · 04/08/2022 07:59

P.s it looks like arbonne has been going a long time so maybe it's all OK and I'm suspicious for nothing?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 04/08/2022 08:19

Hi @CleopatrasBeautifulNose
I'm afraid Arbonne is a full on MLM pyramid scheme. Here is a fairly detailed rundown www.talentedladiesclub.com/articles/how-much-money-can-you-really-make-working-for-mlm-arbonne/
For more information on why MLMs in general are so toxic, you can browse the articles on this page

CleopatrasBeautifulNose · 04/08/2022 08:26

@Twentytwentyhindsight Thank you very much, that's helpful. :) Very apt username too! 😀

It's not ok and you're right to be suspicious! MLMs are scams. Nobody makes money but the top 3% and most people lose money. She'll be lucky to break even and solely waste hundreds of hours of her time making money for other people. Don't pity buy anything from her just say the products don't suit you or you already have favourites or if you're brave enough, say you don't support MLMs but that won't go down well.

CleopatrasBeautifulNose · 04/08/2022 08:52

She not long since been to their Vegas conference. Yikes, she is in deep. I don't think it would be politically wise to criticise MLM's since it's a children friendship thing... but I don't want to show any interest, can't help but think it would be like quick sand, she seems so sensible but she's evengalising with gusto and it just seems so... off.

Galadali · 04/08/2022 09:49

In my experience and subsequent research, Arbonne is the absolute worst for cult tactics. I lost a very close and lovely friend to it several years ago. It's a religious experience for those taken in, and if your acquaintance went to Vegas they will be in very deep now. My advice is to not engage above the bare minimum needed for your children.
