Quickie pension question

Hi,

I am about to move jobs and I started a pension in my current job. I think I only have around 600 saved in it. I heard that if your pension is under a grand you can take it as cash. Does anyone know if this is true?

I'm not entirely sure, but I think it depends on the term of the pension? You should be able to find out quite easily from the pension administrator within the company (there should be some info on your pension bumpf, or ask someone in HR or something).
