Declined compensation from BA for cancelled flights

Would appreciate advice from anyone with similar experiences

We had two flights cancelled in succession with BA - both with less than 4 hours notice.

It meant that we effectively lost out on two days of our holiday.

They are saying it was due to "unavoidable constraints placed upon our cabin crew" and are refusing to compensate us.

Anyone else in this position and know whether we have a chance of getting anything if we persevere?

could they be trying it on?

surely any plane delay is unavoidable - otherwise if it was avoidable, it wouldn't have been delayed?

You could try looking at the advice on money saving expert and resubmitting your complaint via resolver.co.uk

You are entitled to compensation if the cancellation is their fault, which crew shortages usually are.
