Hello, so I was affected by the benefit cap, but since becoming a carer for my mum I am no longer affected by the benefit cap to housing benefit
BUT I wrote housing benefit an email on the 30/05/22 and they've still not dealt with it ! I rang up and she acted like it doesn't even matter saying they are waiting for the benefit cap department to take the cap off so they can reevaluate my entitlement but they don't seem to be doing it and the people on the phone don't even act like it matters!! How long does it usually take ??
