A friend has recently had a run-in with Transax. Anybody else had dealings with them?
They have charged my friend just shy of fifty pounds for a cheque that bounced. However, the cheque is about to clear as it was re-presented with no fuss (initial issue was a mix up with bank accounts).
The main issue is, however, the dire customer service skills shown by the 'lady' my friend spoke to, and the absolute refusal on the part of Transax to discuss the fee and to sort out how best it could be paid. The discussion went badly, with the customer service agent insulting my friend several times, telling her to throw her cheque-book away and then hanging up.
Understandably, my friend is livid.
Any advice?
I have suggested she writes to Transax, with as much information as possible. She wishes to sort the issue out, but when their staff are so unhelpful and downright rude it's a tad hard.
Sorry for the ramble, am surrounded with children being a bit talkative and my brain isn't functioning.
