Been selected for Am again this month. I actually thought I purposefully didn't apply because it's just been a bit crap for me lately and I'm wondering if it's worth the effort...got six items this time. Might just give it one last go and then not bother anymore.

I was on the Potato list 2 years and about the same for Search Sci but I know others on this thread were accepted nearly straight away so it does seem to vary massively from person to person.

Potato took me 2 years but search sciences was immediate (thanks @ruralwanderer !). Although I'm having the same experience as @BecauseOfIndia and hoping this is just a route to better work as it's killing me!

@stillherenow I had lots of the £1 ones to start but am now regularly getting longer articles and blogs (as well as plenty of £1 ones but actually I quite like them and can knock them out in about 5 minutes apiece now).

May was a good month, depending on where Crisp ends up I’ll be £290ish, which is my best for ages.
got lucky with potatoes, shifts dropped at just the right times, loads of content when I was free. I think I’ve finally clicked with Rev and I had quite a bit off there. I’d do a lot more if it was at more convenient times.

Surprisingly got the Amur email this morning as I have been on it since December. Has a quick look in the tool and I’ve got 6 items and the first is just a general link to Facebook, so it’s not looking hopeful. I wonder if many people have decided not to bother with the changes to reimbursements.

Hello everyone! Sorry not been on here for a while. Just thought I'd say that I'm still plodding on with my projects. I managed £700 in May which I'm really pleased with, a mix of my 2 Ap*n projects and LB. I am still clinging on to Yun although I always expect to be removed! I did manage to get some hours on At*s in May too which boosted my earnings for the month.
@Otterses , it's great to see you back. This thread was a life line for me in 2019 when I really needed to leave my job. I've had some great projects from this thread and I will always be grateful to you for starting these threads.

@minimini358, LB is Lion Bridge, although it's a new company now called Telus. It's similar to Appen with different projects.

@LolaMontezz apparently if you don’t fill in the availability survey for Am** they may still give you items to buy regardless. To make sure you aren’t on it you have to fill in the survey and say you aren’t available.
I suspect it’s because they are struggling for numbers due to the huge reimbursement issues. I have over £100 outstanding from March and have not even had a response to my ticket yet as the support is so overstretched.

For me S Sci was within a week after seeing it mentioned in here, I've only had the little short things so far this week but they work well for me, when I'm doing my transcription work I find I can do say 10 mins before I need to look at something else for a break (unless it's a really, really interesting file) so doing one or two of those brief descriptions is ideal for that. Then I get fed up and go back to transcription, and repeat 😂

Do you just have to deposit £10 and then spend it on a slots / spins type game? That’s what I have used the deposits for in the past with offers like these. Once the £10 is gone, ie you have lost it, you have completed the requirement to get the cash back? On the other hand, like in your case (you lucky thing!), you could end up spending your £10 but winning more and making a profit! And still get the £55 cash back…woohoo!

@8DPWoah , thanks. We miss you too! There is hardly any work at the moment. I haven't hit 2 hours this week and I've been checking frequently. No reviews in June either. Think there was PQ review early on but no NM. I wonder if it's task shortage. Anyway I cling on but honestly still find it quite scary! The chat is great though! Glad the SS is working out for you. I might look in to it as Y is not so busy now!

Hello @LennyBennett I deposited the £10 then joined and spent it on Jackpot Joy (because I'd heard of it, basically!) by clicking the link to it within Bonus Kings.

Once on Jackpot Joy, I played Double Bubble Triple Jackpot. Once the £10 was gone, it does seem like I'd completed the requirement to get the cashback. The £30 was available immediately for withdrawal too.

Cashback sites - like you suggest - don't always work with tracking, but if you're comfortable with potentially losing some or all of the £10 regardless, I think it's worth a calculated risk.
