@AllHailKingLouis ah ok, must admit I've not been accepted on too many of the projects I've been accepted on, just dropped lucky I guess!

On that- those of you that do the 'apple ID required' projects on App what sort of device are you doing it on? There's been a flurry of invitations for them and I've nearly done an year on my (non-Apple) hour a day one so I'm a bit conscious I'll need to find something to replace it soon!

AllHailKingLouis · 23/06/2022 07:27

PoseyFlump · 22/06/2022 22:55

Same @aloysiusflyte

My best income was matched betting. Now it's probably Prolific but I think I get more studies because im older and a vegan etc. Check your 'about you' section regularly.

I made thousands marched betting. I ended up banned from everywhere and it just got pointless. Any idea if I can resign up to them all for the sign up offers again? It’s been about 4 years now!?

AllHailKingLouis · 23/06/2022 07:28

I’ve made £12 on prolific since yesterday, helped by a £5 10 minute survey this morning!

Redcrayons · 23/06/2022 08:16

@AllHailKingLouis same here. I gave up because so didn’t have the time for it. I’d quite like to give it another go, but I’m not sure if I could resurrect my old accounts.

PoseyFlump · 23/06/2022 09:44

@AllHailKingLouis I've only heard people successfully resigning up to bookies once they've moved house and in their partners name! I lost my last best accounts during an 'annual review' just after my birthday so assuming the date triggered it. I still do the free daily games. I once got £40 from one free spin on those 😂

usernotfound0000 · 23/06/2022 09:53

Those on prolific, has anyone recently signed up? I signed up a few weeks ago but was added to the waiting list and haven't heard anything yet but it sounds lucrative and I want some of that Grin

PoseyFlump · 23/06/2022 10:00

@usernotfound0000 I saw this being discussed on another forum and they seemed to think it was less likely to get taken on quickly if you're a woman under the age of 30 because the researchers like to have a broad range of sex and ages and these are the most common.

PoseyFlump · 23/06/2022 10:03

Having said that if a researcher suddenly wants to study remainers who keep reptiles and you tick their boxes you're in 😂

Epli · 24/06/2022 15:24

Does anyone do data entry or data analysis freelance work? I've been signing up to freelance websites but I wonder if anyone could recommend one for this particular type of work?

FamilyGredunza · 25/06/2022 00:07

I'd be interested in this too @Epli

BecauseOfIndia · 25/06/2022 08:33

Question for the people who have taken the Y*n exam on Appen - how long does it realistically take - in terms of hours? I postponed mine as I went on holiday but have now realised my mistake in choosing to do it in the last week of the month. I'm really down on my Potato income (my main source) and need to concentrate on that... the big downside of self employment being that holidays cost you twice as much in lost income! 😟

AllHailKingLouis · 25/06/2022 08:38

Clickworker hasn’t paid me for months. I have €19 in there … why are they not paying up?

Februarycat · 25/06/2022 10:57

@AllHailKingLouis I had a payment this week from them and last month.

Soulfullofsunshine · 27/06/2022 10:35

Hello, would anyone be able to help me. So I’ve joined Tel*s and have applied for a few jobs, received an email today asking me to take a pre screening assignment that has been allocated to me, however I can’t seem to find it? Am I being stupid? Any advice or help would be appreciated massively, as I am trying to get another project lined up.

Have you had any emails from them , perhaps they've gone into spam? The test I had to take got sent via email.

Yes the email from them stated my pre screening questionnaire had been assigned to me and to complete qualification assignment in my candidate profile which can be found where I applied for the job?! I can’t see anything. Will check spam emails incase

Newnormal99 · 27/06/2022 21:38

I have signed up to prolific about a month ago. I found out I could not use my work laptop as I was blocked so I ended up buying a cheapish laptop as I could not access many surveys on my phone.

I'm not sure that's a hm good thing but from the amount of surveys I get allocated I reckon it will pay for itself in a few months and then I'm into profit!

I would email them ....they're normally very good at responding to queries.

FamilyGredunza · 28/06/2022 09:13

@Newnormal99
What does it make a big difference with using a laptop as compared to a phone for Prolific then?
I've been doing surveys in QMee as I like how it works with PayPal so I've not tried Prolific yet.

There are a lot that are not suitable to be done on a phone.

I found I could only maybe do 1/4 of the ones on offer to me with a phone only.

FamilyGredunza · 28/06/2022 09:32

@Newnormal99 oh wow, thanks for the tip I hadn't realised that. That makes a big difference so I think I'll give this a try. Thank you.
Does Prolific pay on PayPal?
